History

The 24 of August of 2017 was registered, the Dominican Association of Former Fellows of Japan-ADEJA, at the National Office of Industrial Property by means of the Registration No.483889, and incorporated on 02 March by Resolution 003-2018 issued by the Office of Santo Domingo, and it was registered in the National Registry system of taxpayer (RNC), by its chairman Rafael Incarnation Montero, along with members of the Board of Directors 2017-2019: Ing. Ivan Cruz (Vice President), Ing. Onesimus Mateo de La Rosa (Secretary General), Lic. Candida of the C. Sosa Almanzar (Treasurer), Techn. Santo Ramirez Brujan (Secretary of Public Relations and Press), Ing. Candido de León H (Secretary of Organization), Lic. Manuela Rodriguez (Secretary of Cultural Affairs), Ing. Argentina Source (Secretary of Events), Dr. Leopoldo Carter (Secretary of International Affairs), Lic. Pervis Vilorio Méndez (Vocal), and Rafael Lorenzo (Vocal).

The Dominican Association of Former Fellows of Japan-ADEJA, was born with the idea to bring all alumni clubs sent to Japan, and the countries of South America, Central America and the Caribbean, by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), to receive training. It was founded on 25 October of the year 1982, its founders were: Hector Duvar (Chairman), Fabiola Tadeo (Vice President), Rafael Salcie (Treasurer), Edgardo Jorge (Secretary), and José Francisco Febrillet (vocal).


Mission:

Transmit Reciprocal knowledge of the cultural manifestations between Dominican villages and the Japanese village with the interest of establishing an interchange that consolidate bonds of friendship and understanding between both countries, encouraging the execution in the country with an orientation program for experts, Japanese young volunteers and the ex-grant holders in Japan and in Central American, south American countries and the Caribbean

Vision

Be a model association in this country at the integration and the participation of its members in important topics Of National and international interest, that foment a better Quality of life for ex-grant holders and a sustainable development for Dominican Republic.
